Mech fights Tentacles

This piece started as a speedpainting / sketch for Jung Park's class at Red Enginge. I liked the outcome, so I decided to keep working on it and ended up with this result. The retro feeling of the mech is totally intentional! I think the painting in general feels a bit too noisy and overloaded, but I may be wrong... something to keep in mind next time.
